About your OT

Meet Loanne Nguyen

Loanne is a passionate Occupational Therapist and founder of Ability Arc Occupational Therapy. Her mission is to help every participant move toward greater independence and meaningful participation in everyday life. She is known for producing clear, evidence-based and NDIS-aligned reports that support participants to access appropriate and sustainable funding. Loanne has a particular interest in Functional Capacity Assessments for people with psychosocial and cognitive disabilities.

Alongside comprehensive assessments, Loanne provides therapeutic services tailored to each participant's unique strengths, needs and goals. She believes therapy should be engaging, meaningful and enjoyable, using play, games and each participant's interests to create motivating sessions that build real-world skills. Her approach is warm, practical and engaging, with a strong focus on building real-world skills that improve confidence, independence and quality of life.

Outside work, Loanne enjoys travelling, strength training, attempting to enjoy running, board games, Japanese food, and spending time with her dog and pet lizard.
